What we collect and why
We process data only for the purposes below.
- Quote requests and messages: the details you type into our forms (name, company, email, phone, route, dates, cargo details and your message). We use them to answer you, prepare an offer and, if you accept it, arrange the transport. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Calls and emails: whatever you tell us when you contact us directly, for the same purposes and on the same legal bases.
- Technical data: when you submit a form, your IP address and the time of submission are attached to the message so that we can protect the forms from abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the website and the mailbox secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Contracts and accounting: if we work together, we also process business contact data to perform the contract, issue invoices and meet tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other sites.
It remembers your language and light or dark theme in your browser’s local storage. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. The office map is a still image; Google Maps opens only if you click the link.
Who receives your data
Your data is available to our sales and dispatch staff. We use service providers for hosting and email who process data on our behalf. When a transport requires it, we pass the necessary details (for example loading and delivery addresses and contact persons) to the carriers and partners who carry out the order. We may disclose data to public authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell personal data.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
We do not plan to transfer your data outside the EEA. If a provider or a partner on a lane outside the EEA (for example in the United Kingdom) needs the data for your transport, we pass only what is necessary and rely on a European Commission adequacy decision or other safeguards required by the GDPR.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are kept only as long as needed to answer you and any follow-up questions, then deleted or anonymised. Data connected with a contract is kept for the duration of the contract and afterwards for the periods set by tax and accounting law and for the limitation periods of possible claims.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it erased, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format and object to processing based on our legitimate interests. Where processing relies on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To use any of these rights, write to biuro@logruto.com. We will answer within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl.
Good to know
Giving us your data in the forms is voluntary, but without contact details and route information we cannot prepare an offer. We do not make decisions about you by automated means and do not profile you.
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
